Schreiber Receives EZDA Commissioner Reappointment

Joe Schreiber has been reappointed by the Leon County Board of County Commissioners to serve as a commissioner on the Tallahassee/Leon County Enterprise Zone Development Agency (EZDA) Board of Commissioners for another four year term as a representative that is a "resident residing within the Zone".

The Enterprise Zone is a geographical area targeted for economic revitalization. Businesses that locate or expand their operations are eligible for various state tax incentives.  The EZDA, created pursuant to Section 290.0056, Florida Statutes, assists in the development and implementation of the strategic plan for the Enterprise Zone, recommends ways to remove regulatory barriers to development within the Enterprise Zone, identifies, informs, reviews, processes, and promotes resources, incentives, or assistance to meet identified needs and assists eligible businesses within the Enterprise Zone, and reports quarterly to the Leon County and City of Tallahassee Commissions regarding these activities and recommendations.
