Craig J. Simpson

Attorney

Craig joined McConnaughhay, Coonrod, Pope, Weaver & Stern, P.A. during law school as a law clerk and has continued his legal work with the firm as an attorney.  Craig concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance defense, civil liability defense, employment law, and other business-related matters. Craig handles trial and appellate practice for his clients, including national insurance companies, self-insureds, professional associations, and state agencies.

During law school, Craig was a member of Florida State's Public Interest Law Center, where he worked as a student advocate for the COVID-19 Veterans Clinic. As a student advocate, Craig assisted Tallahassee veterans with a number of issues, primarily focused on housing and evictions. Craig also studied a variety of business law subjects, including intellectual property, commercial law and tax law.
