JOB LOCATION:        Tallahassee – Civil Department


MINIMUNM QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma or its equivalent and 2+ years paralegal experience.  Civil, insurance defense experience preferred.  Paralegal certification preferred.  Must be highly organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task. 


SCHEDULE:  Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.        


BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:  Performs a variety of paralegal services under the direction of assigned attorneys to include, conducting pretrial litigation discovery, preparing interview summaries, reviewing files and obtaining documents as indicated. Analyzes and compiles information into appropriate format.  Compiles and summarizes medical documents.  Drafts legal documents.  Organizes and maintains complex, multi-volume files.   Ability to capture billable hours.  Uses computer programs and document management systems and takes advantage of new technology to enhance job performance.  Maintains positive “success for all” team relations.
