POSITION TITLE: CIVIL DEFENSE ATTORNEY

JOB LOCATION: Jacksonville, Tampa, Gainesville, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: J.D. from recognized law school accredited by the American Bar Association and a member of the Florida Bar. Must be highly organized, detail oriented and possess exceptional communication, analytical and writing skills.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Professional legal work providing counsel and representation to clients. Conduct legal research and analysis of applicable statutes. Develop strategies, evidence, and arguments in preparation for trial. Prepare a variety of legal documents such as discovery requests and responses, pleadings, subpoenas, and medical composites. Use computer programs, document management systems and other technology to enhance job performance.
