Natalie Yong focuses her practice in the area of workers’ compensation defense and related matters.  She assists employers and carriers throughout the claim process, from investigating the work place accident to defending litigated issues, responding to requests for different forms of benefits, and guiding the client towards successful claim resolution.  Natalie represents local and regional employers and national insurers, providing the right counsel for each to effectively protect our clients.

Prior to joining McConnaughhay, Coonrod, Pope, Weaver & Stern, Natalie worked on various aspects of products liability and major multi-district federal litigation.  While in law school, she clerked at McConnaughhay, Coonrod, Pope, Weaver & Stern and assisted local small business at the FIU Small Business Clinic.  Prior to law school, she gained legal experience working as a legal assistant at firms throughout Florida. 

Natalie graduated cum laude from the Florida International University College of Law in 2015, where she served as an editor for the FIU Law Review and an executive board member of the FIU Federalist Society.  She also received CALI awards in Corporate and Partnership Tax, and Computer and Internet Law.
