Firm Sponsors Hydration Station for Seniors

August 19, 2010

McConnaughhay, Duffy, Coonrod, Pope & Weaver, P.A. is proud to announce its sponsorship of a Hydration Station at Cherry Laurel Independent Living in Tallahassee, Florida. The station is a community service and aides in keeping the residents hydrated. Seniors who are dehydrated can suffer temporary dementias and urinary tract infections, which can lead to other medical issues, including death. Their bodies are more susceptible to infection, and hydration is a simple and cost-effective way to help maintain the well-being of people as they age. Pictured here at the dedication ceremony is attorney Victoria Heuler of the firm's Elder Law Department.
