Standard Indus. Linen Co. v. Freeman

419 So.2d 711, (Fla.App. 1 Dist., Sep 08, 1982)

Claimant was offered full-time work but failed to accept this because he claimed that his back bothered him. Benefits were awarded and the court determined that this was error saying that compensation cannot be based only on subjective complaints which are medically unverified. There was no medical evidence in this case to substantiate the claimant's inability to work and accordingly the award of compensation was reversed.
