Southland Corp. v. Jones

Court denied claimant entitled to temporary total compensation for a specific period of time. Claimant left her job because of pain but did not see a doctor until almost two months later. There was no medical evidence to support a claim for temporary total benefits for the period of time that she left work until she finally saw a doctor. Total disability cannot be established merely by the claimant's testimony of an inability to work because of pain.
