Glades Correctional Inst. v. Bukowski

528 So.2d 58, 13 Fla. L. Week. 1540, (Fla.App. 1 Dist., Jul 01, 1988)

Court determined that claimant's post-injury reduced earnings were not related to accident and denied wage loss benefits. Although claimant suffered from a 4% permanent physical impairment rating there were no medical restrictions on her ability to work and she discontinued her employment for reasons unconnected with the accident. There was no evidence that claimant's physical limitations were an element in the causal chain resulting in or contributing to claimant's wage loss. Claimant's subjective complaint unsupported by medical opinion of restrictions was not sufficient to find causal connection.
