Congratulations to Partner Ralph Douglas
In a case handled by firm Partner Ralph Douglas, The Florida First District Court of Appeal (1st DCA) ruled on February 25, 2026, that physicians generally cannot act as pharmacists under workers' compensation laws, limiting their ability to dispense drugs to injured workers. The ruling prevents expanding the definition of "pharmacist" to include dispensing practitioners in worker injury cases.
